Skinny Pumpkin Spice Latte

Skip the Starbucks line, save money and calories, and make this homemade pumpkin spice latte with the natural sweetness of vanilla and maple syrup.

INGREDIENTS:

4-8 ounces of brewed strong coffee or a shot of espresso

1 scoop unflavored collagen (optional)

1/2 cup milk of choice

3 Tablespoons pumpkin puree

1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or a dash of each: cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Two teaspoons maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)

sprinkle of cinnamon

Directions

In a cup or saucepan, mix milk and pumpkin. Cook on the stovetop or microwave for 30-45 seconds. Remove from heat, stir in collagen (optional), vanilla, spices, and sweetener. Place in a cup and use a frother or blender to foam the milk (optional). Pour coffee into a large mug and add the foamy milk mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy! If you really want to get crazy, take it a step further and top it with Cool Whip šŸ˜Š
